Throwing The First Pitch

I practiced pitching a screenplay to the Utah Screenwriters Group  tonight.  I divided my story into 18 major sequences, put them on index cards, and pinned them to a cork board.  Actually, it took two cork boards.

I was really happy with the way it turned out, and I feel better about my structure after having broken it down this way.  I can look at it and tell the structure works.

I got the concept for pitching with the bulletin board from Terry Rossio's website Wordplayer .  Terry's column on pitching  has some great advice.
